Picturing Disaster: Visualizing Climate Emergency and the Natural World

What is the role of images in the age of human-generated climate change? Join us at the Lied Center on March 31st at 4:00 pm for a panel discussion that will generate new models for creating conversations around climate collapse using photography, pictorial language, and graphic design.  Speakers will include Ann Bancroft, explorer and philanthropist; Katie Anania, Assistant Professor of Art History; Stacy Asher, Associate Professor of Art; and Jessica Corman, Assistant Professor, School of Natural Resources.

Seated is limited to a first-come basis.

To ensure the safety of everyone while at the Lied Center, social distancing will be practiced, masks are required, and there will be limited capacity.

If you choose to attend virtually, the stream will begin one half-hour before the event at https://www.unl.edu/live-stream/
